Jeff is one of the most active speakers on the after-dinner circuit and has won the prestigious MBN Soccer Speaker of the Year.

Jeff Winter has been a top referee for more than 25 years, also spent 9 years as a Premiership referee and is now an active “after dinner speaker”. He Commenced on Teesside January 1979. Progressed to the National List via local leagues, Northern League, Northern Intermediate League, Central League and G.M.Vauxhall Conference.

He became one of our most high profile and popular referees. Not a stickler, but someone who tried, as a fan himself to adapt to the needs of the moment.

Was a linesman on the Football League for 6 seasons, then a referee for 3 seasons, completed 9 seasons as a Premier League Referee.

One of the first group of professional referees season 2001/2.
